Be a Homeowner!
There are three basic
criteria to qualify for a home:
1. Housing Need
-
Applicants
generally cannot have owned a home for the past
three years.
-
You are unable
to obtain a regular home loan.
-
You have
problems with your current housing condition
(poor physical condition of structure,
overcrowding, or overpaying).
2. Ability to Pay for Habitat Housing
We accept people who earn from 30% to 60% of area
median income as determined annually by HUD.
Applicants need to have been at their current
residence for at least twelve months.
Applicants need to have been employed in the same
job for the last twelve months and meet the
following income guidelines:

3. Willingness to Partner
Applicants must be willing to complete a minimum
of 300 hours of sweat equity on the building of
their home and working on other Habitat projects.
