The Peterson Family
Mrs. Peterson has worked for North Texas Commu- nity Hospital in Bridge- port, Texas for the past year. The Peterson Family, Habitat for Humanity, along with area sponsors and volunteers will build in partnership during Building on Faith 2010.
“My three children and I are currently living in government Section 8 housing in Bridgeport. We were blessed to find such a nice place given our situation at the time we moved in. We share a wall between our neighbor’s house and there is no privacy in our backyard, no garage and not enough storage. My family would like a place that we can permanently call home. The Habitat program has given us our hope and dream of home- ownership that we can af- ford. We are excited to have a place we can deco- rate to reflect who we are. My children will also be able to attend the same schools they have at- tended since pre-school.”
“We would like to have a foundation, a root system knowing this is our home. This is where we will live now and in the future.”
