FAQ
-
Women Build is open to all community members who want to make a difference. While the event celebrates and empowers women in construction and community leadership all volunteers are welcome to participate and support homeownership in our community.
-
Not at all! Trinity Habitat provides training, tools, and on-site guidance. Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome.
-
Please wear comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a little dirty. Since we’ll be working on an active construction site, closed-toe shoes are required. Athletic shoes or work boots are preferred.
We also recommend bringing a reusable water bottle (though we’ll have plenty of water available on site.)
No need to bring any tools or a hammer. We've got all of that covered!
-
Yes. To ensure we can complete the day's construction goals safely and efficiently, we ask that all volunteers plan to stay for the full build experience. We schedule projects and volunteer assignments based on the number of participants we expect, so every volunteer plays an important role in helping us accomplish the work planned for the day.
Please plan to remain on-site until approximately 3:00 p.m. If you have a scheduling conflict, please let us know in advance. We appreciate your commitment to helping us build strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter
