Cowtown Brush Up is a one-day community paint event where hundreds of volunteers come together to help transform homes for Fort Worth families in need—many of whom are elderly or living on fixed incomes. A fresh coat of paint can make a world of difference, and with your help, we’re brightening neighborhoods across Fort Worth!

Volunteer Team Checklist:

✅ Gather your group and assign a Team Captain

✅ Collect T-shirt sizes (S–4XL)

✅ Register your team online

✅ Collect signed liability waivers for all volunteers

✅ Make sure your team has ladders (borrow if needed)

✅ Attend the Team Captain Meeting to turn in waivers, receive house assignments, instructions, and supplies

✅ Arrive at your assigned house by 8 a.m. on paint day!

How It Works

Twice a year, Trinity Habitat for Humanity teams up with the City of Fort Worth and local volunteers to do minor exterior home repairs and paint homes for neighbors in need.

Whether you're representing your church, company, school, or family, we welcome teams of all sizes.

  • Full teams (20 people) can paint a whole house.

  • Smaller teams will be matched with others.

  •  Larger groups, depending on level of Sponsorship, may have the opportunity to paint multiple houses as available, but not guaranteed.

‍Volunteers must be 12 years or older

  • Sponsorship Opens: Friday, January 2, 2025

  • Sponsorship Deadline: Friday, February 6, 2026

  • Non-Sponsor Registration Opens: Monday, February 9, 2026 at 10 am

  • T-shirt Deadline: TBD

  • Team Captain Meeting: Tuesday, April 7, 2026 @ 6 p.m.

Paint Day: Saturday, April 11 2026 @ 8 a.m.
